Hello, we are The Sojourn Company. 

A small team of like minded-people that share a love for the outdoors, adventure & peaceful escapes. We value exploration, but the importance of leaving no trace, and nature better than we found it. We were inspired to create our first line of provisions, our soy wax candles, to remind us of some of our most memorable destinations, and places yet to be traversed. The inception of our candles began during a period when travel was restricted, giving us ample time to pour over every detail. Pun very much intended.

It was important to us that if we were to create something, it’s purpose would be to help others find moments of peace in their daily routine. It was equally important that these products would use materials that contributed as little harm to our planet, where possible. Recipes were made, tweaked, and tweaked again. Debates were had, as every detail was meticulously scrutinized. We believe in the endeavour of continual improvement, and are excited to share the fruits of our labor. 

Each candle is small batch made, hand-poured here in Hamilton, Canada. We use North American natural soy wax, 100% cotton wicks and custom blends of both fragrance & essential oils that deliver a long-lasting, great-smelling burn. We hope that our candles enhance your connection to nature, to travel, and exploration.
